Hi all,
I would like to sell my De Keyser flute in the key of D. It is made of African blackwood with brass tuning slide and rings and comes in four sections: headjoint, barrel, single main body, and footjoint (the footjoint has two venting holes). The flute has no cracks. The flute has medium to large holes and plays strongly through two and half octaves and is well in tune with itself. The tenons are thread wrapped and a little slack so I have used plumber’s tape to tighten the fit. This can be easily removed if desired. The flute plays well as it is now. This would be a good first wooden flute. It has served me well for several years. The flute will be sold in its original hard case. I’m looking for £150 for the flute and I’m willing to send it anywhere provided the buyer takes the postage cost. Please send me a PM message if you are interested.
