FS - Arie De Keyser Flute

Dear C&F

I have a De Keyser flute that I don’t use much and I could do with some money to put towards my Olwell purchase.

I bought it in 2001. It is a nice flute, plays well, nice tone, good intonation. Looks like cocobolo, and is a big-bodied Pratten style job. Only downside is that the ring from the bottom end of the footjoint is missing. I bought it like this and it doesn’t affect the flute’s playability.

I’m not a greedy so-and-so; if anyone would like a to buy this very decent flute for the very reasonable sum of £150 please p.m. me with your e-mail address and I’ll send you some pictures. We can talk P&P later.

Thanks
m.d.

Is the flute cocobolo or mopane? If cocobolo I’d be interested, I had a great De keyser in mopane alas I was allergic to it!

Hey Mark

I just pm’d you. It’s Cocobolo as far as I know, but I wouldn’t swear to it.

BUMP!

Bumped for the reason that not one, but two C&F forum members contacted me about this flute, only to disappear like swallows in spring when it came to actually buying the darn thing! No names, no pack drill, but the end result is that I’ve still got a flute to sell. Any new takers?
