David O'Brien delrin Rover

I just received a three piece Rover from David and have to say that I am thrilled! What a beautiful whistle! High quality craftsmanship combined with great sound. I am by no means an expert or even a good player if I am truthful, but I can make this little whistle sing. It has a strong and stable first octave that is full and rich and it will reach, easily, into the third octave without becoming shrill.

P.S. I have a couple of pictures but cannot seem to successfully post them.

Lots of stuff on how to post images:

This comes up so often, might’n it be worth its own Sticky or Announcement rather than being neatly tucked away in another thread? Just sayin’

Best wishes.

It is in a sticky. It’s in the sticky I’ve just linked to above. It’s in the Forum Support forum, because it’s an issue that comes up not just in the Whistle forum but in all forums.

But that’s like three rows down and seven over and take the trolly across the bridge and then walk through the tunnel and nobody ever finds it because of the gremlins… That’s why the questions keep coming up here and on the other forums. Maybe take away the universal, but dated, Jerry Freeman Go-Fund-Me notice and replace it with Here’s How Jerry Posts a Photo notice…

Best wishes.

It’s too bad that the pictures need their own url before they can load. I have loaded them to my tablet and I guess that is as far as their going.

It’s the same with most forums. It’s easy enough to do. Something like Photobucket will do it. It’s perfectly secure.

This is most definitely my problem. All the other forums I visit allow me to upload pictures directly from my computer. I do have a photobucket account but I have not been able to get pictures from it without all the rest of them being visible to everyone, which I find annoying, again, my incompetence, not this forums fault.

I would be more than happy to e-mail the two pictures to any member willing to post them.
