Dallas Session every Sunday at 3:00 PM

There’s a open slow session at the Celtic Store on Greenville Ave, south of Walnut Hill. It’s at 3 and runs to 6. We’re very amateurish. Our motto is “No musician will be left behind”. We have fiddles, whistles, guitars and bodhran. We’d love to see other instruments such as flute or some alternative strings (banjo, mandolin, bazouki), and also an accordeon or concertina would be nice. We’re also planning on doing more singing (ballads, pub songs, laments). E-mail me if you’d like to know more.

My wife and I got to sit in on a singing session when we were in Dallas last year.

We still sing “Peggy Lettermore” in Irish from time to time, usually in public and at innapropriate moments. :stuck_out_tongue:

I wish I could have hit one of the instrumental sessions…maybe one day we’ll actually get to take a little time off and head that way again.

I’d supply mandolin if I could make it out there on a weekend
