Sandy has made me a beautiful purply gold copper whistle with a difference. She altered the sizing of the holes to make it easier for my fingers to cope with. I have Arthritis and also variable muscle weakness and my low D is frequently squeaky and has occasionally exploded whilst playing in sessions. Not pleasing other members of my folk group.
Some people can’t cope with disabilities! It’s beautiful. I now love Tony Dixon’s high D whistle and Sandy Jasper’s special whistle for the lower notes. Her F & G for sheer hauntingness and The Dixon A for it’s melancholy beauty and richness. I have WHoa.so hubby says
Seklie, did you ever get a package from Deadwood? I think it’s time to kick some postoffice butt!
Yes I did and I emailed you to say great thanks for the necklace. It was wonderful and your explanation. I hate BT Internet. Half my e-mails go missing. Sorry. It’s lovely and I wore it to a session and got loads a questions. Be out of touch with illness for 4 weeks so just catching up on posts. I loved it thanks a lot Anna.
