Charles Roberts Compact set without chanter for sale.
Nice smooth sounding drones in perfect working order, including bag, bellows and a Ritter tenor sax gigbag. Just add your own chanter, and you are playing.
I bought the drones and bag from Charles in 2002 and they have performed flawlessly ever since. Indonesian ebony, faux ivory and silverplated brass. Still use the original reeds. As these are the compact model, there is only room for two regs. Perfect for a cramped pub session. The bellows was made by myself and is airtight, comfortable and gives plenty of air.
One thing has been changed on the set: The shutoff switch (which were originally a bit too sharp for my fingers) have been changed to a nice little pewter skull.
