A few whistles ready to go… Not the best picture…blame my iPhone…
From left to right, cocobolo, lemonwood, African blackwood, lemonwood, pink ivory…
They are all pitched in D with brass ferrules. Please note that the pink ivory has a repaired crack done in the eastern philosophy of highlighting “flaws” or repairs as proof of a life well lived! It’s been stabilized for 2 years and filled with sterling silver dust suspended in a glue mixture and sealed fully.
Email me at irishpipemaker@gmail.com if interested. I’m working away from home over the road, so I’ll do my best to respond quickly…but give me a few days. I’m generally at home on the weekends however. I visit the Chiff infrequently, so my email is best.

Snap one of these up if you have a chance. David made me a blackwood whistle earlier this year, and it ranks right up there with the best whistles being made today. My whistle fingers very easily and the tone is true and pure in both octaves. You won’t be disappointed with the quality of a Boisvert whistle.
Thanks Greg!
I’m awfully glad you are enjoying it!
Would someone post the prices for these whistles?
It’s not in this posting nor on the referenced site.
Also, a further description of the effect of the tone woods would be very helpful.
The prices are a secret…Better dig deep!!
Its all about the craftsmanship! And these whistles are very finely crafted.
Craftsmanship. Yes. Just remember the old adage: If you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it. . .

Hiya folks,
My apologies to anyone I might have not gotten back to! I’m in the middle of a job search, buying new cars (BOTH DIED!) and getting home and yard ready for a huge grad party for my daughter Gracie! So I admit I’m a wee bit frazzled! If I’ve neglected anyone, I’m VERY sorry! If you need to contact me, please send me an email rather than a pm here. I’m not online very often right now… Mostly through this TINY little iPhone! Is it me, or did this thing shrink recently!
