Competition CLOSED - Emmline is the Winner

Congrats Emm. You deserve it!

BTW Martin, I didn’t notice that wonderful brass whistle I stuck you…I mean…gave you. I think that’s why my post was 26 off.

I won a prize? No way.
(I hope it’s an all expense paid trip to London…yes, that’s gotta be it!)

Granulations Emm. The prize is probably a lifetime supply of Marmite. (Av’s been trying to get rid of her jar)

And that would be a lifetime supply, wouldn’t it? For several people.

The prize is what I said it would be - a tasty little musical instrument.

 Congratulations, emmline! Hooray for the ladies.

Well done Nymph!

Marmite rocks.

So that’s where it comes from. Where are the mines?

Cool, I got the Melodeon right! I was killing myself trying to remember
the name of that thing…

Colorful!

Wow. I was surprisingly close in my count of the jar-whistles… (that was
an eye strain, I even tryed blowing up the picture and doing an
edge-detect in Photoshop, to no avail.)

I still can’t see the other 10 whistles on the couch…

Thanks guys, that was fun!

Now you mention it, I can only see one myself, a Blue top Gen Bb, and I can only see three Ds on the floor, assuming the other two count as lows. That’s what I get for letting a concertina playing linguist count them.

Let’s see, if I discount those extra ten whistles, we get…65 instruments, so Emmline is the Winner.

Schwindle, schwindle.

Oi! :stuck_out_tongue:

Three tilted whistles: the blue top Gen and two black dixons
One white whistle, a homemade C
Seven lying together on the sofa - two brass, then two black, then three more brass (two with Hoover whitecaps)

Eleven. So there. And Gary told me how many were on the floor while I was writing it all down.

Glurk! We should have known Gary can’t count above three (without a GPS to help him)
