Yes, the top section is designed for a flute, while the bottom is for whistles. But, it can be made to whatever specs a person wants.

Could the session bag carry, say, a 2-row Hohner accoridon and whistles safely inside?

I have my Saltarelle 2 1/2 row and whistles in mine, with room to spare.

I’ve got one! Teri made me a “pre-release” custom model and very nice it is too. Mine’s more of a “gig bag” - in the centre there’s a long strip of padded fabric that wraps around and protects an accordion, secured in place with velcro fasteners. There’s another long strip with multiple whistle “sheaths” in it. This rolls up and is also secured with velcro. There’s plenty of room to spare for mikes, cables, and whatever else you might need - baby for instance - and there are two roomy outside pockets.

I asked Teri to make mine in red to make sure that nobody can walk off with it unnoticed and it’s very nice looking. Comfortable shoulder straps and the whole thing is very neatly and strongly made. I’m looking forward to putting it to use!
