I have no desire whatsoever to have a career in music, because it is too sacred to me and I don’t want to sell it. You call it a gift, and I agree, but it is mine to share as I wish, and with whom I wish. Thanks for the support, though.

Consequently few people know
the books exist. Sometimes
the best way to share
a gift is to sell it.

I just learned this song this week and I recorded it by myself (no operating help) and then sang it last night for the first time in public. I was in a big room with a high ceiling, which is always nice for acoustics.

Nice job, Jessie. It was executed well, good dynamics, etc. You’ve got a really decent range. It sounds like you’re comfortable all throughout your range. An idea you might like, considering you don’t want a career in music, but like to share at your choosing - at your convenience make a CD of your favorites to give to your friends and family. A good friend of mine who is a recording artist did this as a Christmas card a year ago, and sent it to a select few friends. It was one of the nicest Christmas greetings I’d gotten.
In any case, you’ve got a very listenable voice. Bravo!
