We went to Spring Texas last night to see Cherish The Ladies. They were great. It was my first time to see a whistle/flute player that realy knew how to play that type of music. CDs are good too but seeing her fingers move live was cool. Due to traffic in Houston we were a little late but they started late also so we did not miss much. We went in with a lady and her flashlight to show us our seats. There was a break and when the lights came on I could see the audience. Looked like an AARP meeting.
95% were over the age of fifty.
Do they draw a younger crowd other places? After the second half they were in the lobby with CDs and Joanie spoke to everyone that waited. She is full of happy engry and a very sincere celebrity to speak with. We look forward to seeing them again.
… and another one succumbs to the charms of our Joanie. Welcome to the club, Tommy. She is a peach.
