It’s been a LONG time since Ive been here. Just wanted to pop in and let you all know that I have a Cheiftain in the key of ‘A’ for sale before I put it on ebay. According to the site, they are going for 115 pounds, or around $227, brand new. Of course, I dont expect an offer anywhere near that much, but…I dont want to give it away either!
*EDIT- I see on some other sites this whistle (the same model as on line on some shop sites) has a lower list price [I thought $227 was quite a bit high even for NEW] of about 85 GBP, or $167.
Please make me an offer- nothings wrong with it, I just never play it anymore and it’s sitting idle. Still sounds as great as the day I got it and it’s perfect for learning some of those Lunasa tunes that are played on an ‘A’ whistle too. Non-tunable, but spot on the best I can tell once you warm it up. I played it the other day along with a CD and it still sounds great (and why wouldnt it-it’s aluminum!)
