I am thinning out my collection of chanters, so I have two for sale.
The first one is in C, and is old. I have had it for nearly 20 years and it was second or third hand when I got it. It plays nicely and it has a new reed.
It is in ebony and brass, and has blocks for 5 keys, although none are fitted. I have no idea who made it, and it is very slim. There is one small chip of wood missing above the bottom mount, but it is excellent condition otherwise.
The second chanter is in D, and was made by Chris Bayley about 30 years ago as far as he can recall. It is in ebony and nickel silver with imitation ivory mounts, has six keys and a popping valve, which is removable as there is a ferrule underneath the valve if you do not want to use it. It has six keys rather than five because there are two F natural keys, one the normal style and the other a ring style key.
