Chanter key usage

Hi folks, in my new second hand chanter, there is the c nat key. What about the usage of it?
I understand I must operate with my bottom hand thumb, but which is the finger combination? If I press only the key, the sound I have is not a c nat… :sniffle:

The Cnat key works for the 2nd octave Cnat note. Play a 2nd octave B and then open the key. You should then have a 2nd octave Cnat note.

In general, when using a key, you finger the note immediately below. In other words, for a Fnat, you finger the note E and open the Fnat key, etc.
