Greetings! Is anyone here familiar with the CD Celtic Harmony? I’m trying to find sheet music for the third track Si Bheag Si Mhor (played on the fiddle). So far, all the sheet music by that name that I’ve located doesn’t sound like what’s on the CD. Anyone know where I can find sheet music for this?
The 3rd track of the album can be previewed here: http://www.efolkmusic.com/viewalbum.asp?Artist=Pete+Huttlinger
For the sheet music, simply go to the ABC tunefinder site, …
http://trillian.mit.edu/~jc/cgi/abc/findtune?P=si+bheag+si+mhor&F2=find+(wide)
…and print out whatever format your computer & printer are set up to handle – TXT ABC PS EPS PDF GIF PNG
'luck now,
brian_k.
Got it! Thanks!
Thanks from me too; I was spelling it wrong all this time and couldn’t find it anywhere!
Rosie, it wasn’t because you were spelling it wrong. There’s just spelling variations with that tune. IE> Sheebeag, Sheemore; Si Beag, Si More; Sheebeg, Sheemor; Little Fairy, Big Fairy; ect.
I love that tune too.
I play it almost like the one on Celtic
Harmony.

Very nicely done. One of my favorite tunes and love playing it. What “C” whistle was used on the track?
If you are talking to me, I played it on my D
Silkstone.

Lolly…
PVC or Alloy Silkstone?
DRC
PVC, but not like the PVC Sustatos. I
think it feels like something different than “plastic”.

I was in the public restroom at the Tulsa Zoo. And there was a sign up “Please do not dispose of candy wrappers, ect. in toilet.” Someone had put a red mark through the “ect.” and written “-10 spelling.”

Aha, we call it "She Begs for More!
There’s also that perennial favourite Scarey Monster (The Star of Munster). Any other good colloquial titles for well known tunes?
Just don't ask how to play It's a Small World...they'll never let you live it down...Fear not! I have no intention of learning, playing, or even listenting to It's a Small World.
