For those who are interested and living in Germany. There is a Celtic Event in Hude (Oldenburg). I want to join the workshop with Siobhán Kennedy. Is anybody else going there? Seems to be a nice one.

If you or anybody else travels there via Hannover (where I’m currently based) it would be nice to go together - either on a group/weekend rail ticket or by car (I don’t have a car at the moment though…)

Well, I suppose his death might make it impossiple for (that very) Peter Ustinov to come in Person… but the venue, a school, is named after him: Peter Ustinov School.
I booked the course with Siobhán because of the description on VHS homepage. I hope I made the right choice 
It is hard for me to decide. But I can change courses after the first 1-2 hours so we will see will be fun anyway!

Has anybody ever been there and had the chance to join a workshop with Siobhán? I would like to hear some “impressions”. I am a little bit nervous (as I always am).
@ Georg: I’m going there directly from Münster via train (Semesterticket und Niedersachsenticket). I’m afraid the train is not passing Hannover. I booked the workshop with Siobhán and got the confirmation mail yesterday. So may be we will meet there looking forward to meet you, too…

Siobhan is a great teacher and she certainly knows what she’s doing! I’ll be there for the weekend as well, playing on friday with my band Trasnú and saturday for the session…
When and where exactly are you playing? I want to organize some tickets do you know, where I can get them? Do I also have to order at Pro Musica eV before? Sorry for all this questions

we’re playing on friday the 13th 
from 7.30pm in the Kulturhof, together with the band QuestWind (our guitarist plays there as well) and we’re releasing our new CD on that evening, too…I’m sure it’ll be quite an epic party 
I guess you can pre-order tickets directly at PMA. Just give them a call and they should keep them for your at the door that evening. If things don’t work out let me know - I’ll have them reserve a number of tickets for you then.

The weekend was really fantastic Siobhan is really amazing. It was a complete new experience learning the tunes without sheets. I think I will participate again next year. I’m very sorry, Gabriel, but I visited my old friend in Oldenburg so I could not come to the concert. But hopefully I can come to the session in Münster
