Casey Burns Folk Flute

The Folk Flute: Do people tend to hang on to them, or sell them? I was looking at Casey’s website and it seems like a great flute. I tried one of his regular mopane ones and loved it. Does anyone have a folk flute for sale?

I own one of the standard models in mopane, and I love it. I played someone’s folk flute once, and it played pretty much the same as my standard. If I had one instead of my standard I’d probably hold in to it, though I might be inclined to get an additional flute after a while. Of course I’d be inclined to do that anyway if I had any money!

I think you will find that the more expensive mopane flute
has a finer sound. I’ve played them both.

I have heard people say that they absolutely love them, and other people say that it is a good flute to start out on. So, I guess its mostly up to the player and how the flute feels to you.

The Higher cost flutes are better than the folk flutes but the folk flute is awesome bang for the buck. I love Casey’s flutes.

Doc

Well, since you asked, here’s a bump for you. Someone has one for sale now.

I don’t hang on to them.
