20K on rebuilt engine. Good tires. Great transportation. Has shamrock sticker on rear window. $3,500 Canadian.
What key does it play in?
Okay, that’s pretty funny ![]()

How often does it need to be tuned?
Indeed, is it even tunable? I had a Dodge Dart once, and I couldn’t get a decent bell note on it. It was an older style, though, so maybe the fipple has been improved. If Dixon can do it, so can Dodge.
We have enough youth. What we need is a fountain of humor.

What a deal…I would buy this, but I might have a problem playing it because I have medium-sized hands. Maybe I should try a piper’s grip…
Cheers
My brother once had a caramel-colored Dart… must’ve been brass. He loaned it to another of my brothers who ruined it. Couldn’t figure out why they needed a tow-truck for a whistle… And how on earth did he run a whistle into a tree?
But then, he put a handful of bottlerockets into his pocket once and a spark ignited it. Stupid.
For sale: some illusions, slightly used, just like new.

I knew YOU would get it. Tho’ I forgot the part about it being on Eb-hey and to email me if interested.
Several concerns about the Dart.
Understand that I don’t want to criticize anyone’s taste in an instrument but I found the fipple to be excessively large.
I also thought there was too much back pressure when I tried to blow the exhaust back in through the engine. One advantage though is that it warms up faster than other metal whistles and is particularly handy for those of you who like to play at stop lights.
Also, I wouldn’t recommend it for long slow tunes. If you stick to the fast tunes your less likely to burn your lips.

I thought Dodges were supposed to be cold-natured.
Sure, the Dart has a unique look to it, which some players find attractive. But I’m concerned about the toxicity of this one. A new Dart fresh out of the package emits some nasty fumes, and unlike most whistles, this one seems to get more toxic as it ages. And even after playing just a short tune on a Dart, it leaves your lips all numb and a nasty taste in your mouth.

Look, I don’t care what you lamers think. You are insignificant. I sell cars to professional drivers and it’s their opinions that matter. Nothing that the average driver does can impact the auto indistry. You are a bunch of asphalt. Sometimes I’m asphalt, but this time I’m right. No, I am not speaking for Chrysler.
My son wants me to buy it so he can run over it with his GREAT BIG REDNECK TRUCK. Then it wouldn’t matter what key it was or if you had to warm it up to play it.

LOL! Good one. Can you throw in some Firestone tires?

Yeah man, I got it right away, fair play to you on that one! ![]()
Seriously, you never know what’s going to come out of “Loren’s Garage Mahal” next ![]()
Hmm, you think the shamrock sticker idea would actually work? I hadn’t thought of that, hmm…

Hey I think we should all lay off. I mean how would we feel if we as the C&F Mega-Majority inadvertantly said something which caused havoc in the automobile industry. I mean if Dodge/Chrysler gets wind of this thread they may stop making cars all together…other manufacturers would likely follow causing the complete disintegration of the American economy as we know it.
Of course there would still be Europeans buying cars…but what kind of cars?
Hmmm, maybe some company could start making cheap plastic cars that sound like recorders.
This would have the added benefit of stabilizing the Mexican food industry. ![]()
Doc
Wanted to say…
I like this thread.
Thank you.

That reminded me of an email I got from a sax player. (It should be obvious.)
