The workmanship showing on the keywork, the Brass and elsewhere the rest of the images is far above that of the Mid-East level.

I think your best course of action would be to ask Kirk himself. I play one of Kirks chanters and I love it. Both his old and new chanters rock and are easy to reed. The stock on the set looks suspect.

Yes ,the quality and workmanship is getting better.Once they get the inside sorted All it will take is for them to employ a piper to be in charge of quality control and we can all get full sets for less than a grand.
