I’m the happy owner of a Burke DASBT and was thinking about buying a Burke DCS. I was wondering how the playability (breath requirement, responsiveness, intonation, etc) of a composite compared with the aluminum whistle. Are they pretty much the same?
I would think the composite might have a more complex sound, somewhat mellower than the aluminum. Is that about right?
Are they equally loud?
Anyone out there have both and want to offer some opinions? Or not have both but want to opine anyway?
