I was looking at pictures of Bradley Angus pipes on a web page and was very taken by the copy of a Taylor set. Has anyone heard or played these pipes or his D pipes in general. Do they just look good???
I remember seeing a very early Angus set for sale at a Portland music shop. Frankly, I wasn’t too impressed. Three years later, I returned to Portland and visited him at his basement, er, workshop to find that he is turning out exxxxxxxxcellent stuff. I played a B chanter of his that makes me drool every time I think about it…
These days, Brad makes mostly narrow bore D sets and flat sets. He might be amenable to making something wider in bore though…I’d contact him personally and ask
I think Morten in Copenhagen has a B set or something by Angus. Are you there Morten?
