books to possibly trade for whistles.

Edit - I’m probably going to see if the library wants them, because when I leave I can’t take all my books.

Cran, you ought to try putting some up on Amazon.com for a while in the used books section…you’d be amazed what can sell there at pretty good prices, especially the more esoteric stuff. I sold some very technical textbooks there with good results. Not everything sells, but what does can get a pretty good price.

I don’t have a credit card or checking account so I can’t.

Just FYI, there are not 48 states. There are 50. Since I belong to the 49th, I always find it a little rankling when folks outside forget about us. And there is USPS here. It is the same standard postal rates as in all 49 other states.

Just so you know.

Still? I thought there were at least 60 by now, after the recent feeding frenzy.

Welcome, Glauber! How are things? Do you still out over at thesession.org?

Best,

It has always costed me more to mail things to Hawaii or Alaska (and sometimes even western states like Washington) than it does to say Florida or New York. Mabey it’s just my postal lady being screwy.

I know there are fifty states. I’m not that stupid.

Yeah, sometimes, but it lost its mojo, for me. This board is much better, because as you see, i can show my real picture with my posts. And of course Dale guarantees that here the minimum lunacy quotient (MLQ) is always achieved.

Obwhistle: favourite whistle right now: Shaw. It’s like a Clarke, but shiny and without the loose wood plug.
