Stayed up past my bedtime to finish The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini.
It’s a novel about Afghanistan in the 70’s up to present day and is one of the most moving and beautiful books I can recall ever reading. This one is going to stick with me for a LONG time.
The film version wrapped last December and is scheduled for release this Fall.
Read the book first. The miniscule plotline below already looks somewhat different (can’t say more without dropping spoilers).
