Bill Ochs workshop for absolute beginners on Sunday May 4th

Dear Friends,

I will be giving a free tin whistle workshop for absolute beginners on
Sunday, May 4 on the lightship Frying Pan at Pier 63, West 23rd St. at
the Hudson River. The workshop runs from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, but be sure to
come early so you can find your way to the Captain’s Room, where the
workshop will take place. Bring your own tin whistle in the key of D or
purchase one at the workshop.

My workshop is part of The 2nd New York City Irish Dance Festival, hosted
by The Irish Arts Center at Pier 63. For more information on this noon to
10:00 PM festival, check the IAC website:

http://www.irishartscenter.org/mus_dance.htm

If you have any questions about the tin whistle workshop only, please
e-mail me or call me at 212-247-3231. I have no further information about
Festival other than what is posted on the IAC site.

I hope to see some of you down at the Hudson on May 4. Please e-mail me
if you plan to attend, so I’ll have an idea of how many people to expect.
