I thought i read somewhere that Bills Ochs was doing a one day (sat or sun) workshop sometime soon. I did the usual searches (google, http://www.irishartscenter.org, and here) and came up with nothing. Does anyone have any info on this? or did i dream it?

This is part of the reply from Bill Ochs regarding the workshop.
I will give a free Open House Tin Whistle Workshop on Sunday afternoon,
Jan. 13 at the Irish Arts Center in Manhattan. The address is 553 W. 51st
between 10th and 11th Avenues. On street parking is available.
The Open House runs from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. It is divided into three
sections:
Absolute Beginners: 2:00 to 3:15 PM
Advanced Beginners: 3:30 to 4:45 PM
Intermediate (Intro to Ornamentation): 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
The afternoon is an introduction to my classes at the Irish Arts Center.
It also gives me a chance to meet Tri-State area whistlers who are
playing on their own and would like some coaching.
Bring a tin whistle in the key of D. For beginners who do not have a
whistle, instruments will be available for purchase for $10 on the day of
the workshop. I also encourage you to bring a tape or mini disc recorder.
