Last year, Gary White of the South Eastern Pipers Tionol and I put together a party for pipers at the Skyline village Inn, in the beautiful North Carolina mountains. We had a great time. There was no agendas….workshops or concerts; just hanging out, talking and playing pipes. Mostly it was pipers but we had a few fiddlers and I believe a fluter to boot. Great sessions.
We are doing it again this year on September 18-19. All are welcome. Call The Skyline Village Inn and make reservations. Be sure and tell them its of the Irish bagpipes party. If by chance they fill up call the Pine Valley Motel, which is just a mile down the road.
