Hello all,
Gary White and I are planning our fall Uilleann pipers get together at the Skyline Village Inn, in the little town of Spruce Pine NC, 50 miles North of Asheville. Sept.24-25. Make your reservations early. Here is the address: http://www.the-skyline.com/


This will be our third one. Unlike the Tionols there is no agenda, no concerts and no formal lessons . We just hang out, drink a few pints, play tunes and talk tunes, reeds,free advice and pipes, looking out for 200 miles over the mountains. All are welcome even fiddlers and fluters.

If by chance they are full there are a couple of motels about a mile right down the road. Here is one:

Hi Pat, I plan to attend and just need to re-confirm the dates: the Southeast Pipers’ webpage gives 24-25th September, is this correct?

Yes, that’s correct. Thanks for the reminder…I took the ‘tentative’ off of the announcement.

P.S. You need to call the Skyline Inn and mention the Piper’s Club to make reservations as he blocks all the rooms for us for the weekend, so the online reservation system shows unavailable.
