Beware of the latest spoof supposedly from ebay. I got this in my email and checked it out. It is NOT a legitimate email from ebay and I have reported it to ebay. I just wanted to warn others.

You have received this email because you or someone had used your account to make fake bids on eBay. For security purposes, we are required to open an investigation into this matter. To help speed up this process, you are required to verify your eBay account by following the link below.

Whenever you get one of these, forward it to spoof@ebay.com or spoof@paypal.com, according to whether the fraud is directed at your eBay or PayPal account information. They’ll deal with it.

I’ve gotten several lately containing the actual logos of actual banks or financial services “requiring” that I visit a conveniently supplied link to update my security information.
There are always suckers.
