I’m looking for the traditional bellows seasoning that I think many northumbrian pipers are familiar with. The bellows I make do not need seasoning. So I am not very familiar with the stuff. However, I have an older bellows made by someone else that could use a bit of seasoning in the shop.
I believe it consists of beeswax, neetsfoot oil, and maybe fiddle rosin, or cobbler’s wax?
Please do not reply with seasoning recipes for highland pipes, that stuff does not work well in bellows.
