Is there any chance of you producing a Bb Blackbird in the near future. Please!!!
Someday, there will be a Bb Blackbird, but you’re gonna have to be patient.
I’ve completed most of the preproduction work for mass produced Blackbirds and Mellow Dogs, which will include Bb Blackbirds, but I’ve had to set the project aside for the time being. Due to the banking meltdown, my financial partner no longer can provide the loans for the injection molding tooling and related costs, so I’m stalled until I can find alternate sources.
I promise it will happen eventually, but I can’t predict how soon.

A Bb Blackbird would be a “cool thing”, indeed!
Sorry to say, a Bb Blackbird is still somewhere off in the distance.
However, I should tell you that in August, I got to examine a truly outstanding, prized Bb Generation one of the pipers brought to the gathering in Vermont.
That whistle provided the insight to make some adjustments to the tweaking scheme. If you’re looking for a really nice Bb whistle with a relationship to the Blackbirds, I would recommend you get one of the tweaked Bb Generations. I think you’ll be pleased.
