Bamboo whistles on eBay

Happy Tuesday all,
I have placed a bid for the following two bamboo whistles, in the keys of D and A, on eBay.

They are described to have excellent intonation, and for the cheap price (one buck each currently), I kind of bidded on them automatically. (Damn WhOA to the firey pits!) Now I’m thinking I don’t really need them. They look lovely, but they shouldn’t go to someone who doesn’t really want them. So folks, if anyone is interested, please go bid! This Public Service announcement is over.

without troubling of a star.” (Madeleine L’Engle)

gah that’s the novelty whistle i have! it has horrible intonation. very hard to play anything out of the first octave as well. then again this is just my inexperienced pennywhistle advice but i do play saxophone, flute, guitar, bass guitar, and drums, and i tried to get that thing into pitch and it didn’t work out too well

Oh dear! The seller is certainly leading us astray, then. Thanks for letting us know.
Luckily, I’ve been outbid by some unknown soul.
