Anybody else have this yet?

The Serenity dvd. My wife surprised me with it last wednesday and it has been in the player ever since. Fun flick!

I got it for my wife for Christmas as a suprise..she didn’t even know it was out yet when I ordered it  It arrived with only two days to spare..whew!

My wife bought it for me for Christmas along with the Firefly set…Oh Joy!

The Firefly set is next on my list of must have videos. Joss Whedon’s introduction to Serenity (dvd extra) is pretty entertaining to say the least.

For those of you out there in the know, this is what a friend of mine got me for Christmas…

I believe we have ordered it but is hasn’t arrived yet.

One of my Christmas presents arrived via UPS yesterday.

That’s great!

We had the movie pre-ordered through Amazon.com, so it arrived on the release date. Been Firefly fans since it aired on TV, and bought the boxed set as soon as it was available. IMO, Firefly and Serenity are Joss Whedon’s best work so far. (Best cast, too.)

Rented it. Its okay. Had to rewind it several times to make out what people were saying. Like Firefox, Serenity is too much like a western for my tastes, but if you like westerns and sci-fi, you will probably love it.

It is supposed to be a space/western, which is why I do like it.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. A co-worker has the whole set he said he’d loan me. Perhaps…

He must be a very trusting sort of fellow. I’m not certain I could return it after I’ve finished viewing it again and again and again.

I’m glad you ALL liked it.

I took my sons to see it when it came out.
I had a nice nap.
Afterward, I was informed by my sons that I had missed a great flick. :stuck_out_tongue:
Yawn.

You did, Dixie, it’s a rad movie.
Even if you never saw Firefly, it works great as a stand-alone feature. My wife never saw the series either and she said she enjoyed Serenity, and she really doesn’t dig that type of thing as much as I (at least that’s what she says, but she’s a Star Trek fan, so I’m confused :stuck_out_tongue: )
