any one have a c-hole on their keyless flute?

Does it work well? Is it comfortable to use?

I thinking in particular of Terry McGee’s but I assume other makers will add them too…

While we’re on the topic (more/less), does anyone have multiple McGee flutes with different embouchure cuts (circle, semi-circle, rounded rectangle, etc…). I’m wondering if the rounded-rectangle is really that much easier to play and produces a louder sound.

Thanks for any info.

Well, you did say “Thanks for information.” I havn’t got much, but I met a guy once who had a c-hole on his Hammy. It wasn’t a keyless flute, but he had the c-hole instead of the c-key.He did use it (the hole) most of the time. When he was teaching someone a tune,he cross fingered so as not to confuse them.
Sorry I can’t be more helpful!
