Also, some of you may already know of this, but there is a wonderful site called the Fiddler’s Companion…apparently designed for fiddlers but applicable to all who have in interest in Irish Tunes…

Not only does this site have a searchable database of thousands of tunes with abc notation, but more importantly for each tune there is extensive information and discography…lots of history about the tunes you are playing, who recorded them, and many variations by region and particular fiddler. A nice resource if you want to know a little more about your favorite tunes.
