I’ve always thought Tyson was a weird violent guy. And not very bright. Yesterday I saw the news clip of him talking about quitting boxing to maintain the dignity of the sport. And how he didn’t have the drive to fight because he had a comfortable family life and had already taken care of his kid’s financial future. He sounded articulate and thoughtful. ??? Where’s this person been hiding for the last 20 yrs? It seemed so out of character I thought maybe he hired a stand in to retire for him.
My husband was watching some boxing match a few months ago, and they did a mini interview with Tyson. He (my husband) said the same thing, and was very surprised by it as well. His thoughts and opinions were very well said and extremely articulate for someone that we all thought was so darn unintelligent.
Maybe all the boxing finally knocked some sense into his head.
