I’ll be headed to NOLA again for St. Pats. Between parades with the local Pipe Bands I’d love to cross trails and down a pint or two with any UPer who wants to sit and share tunes and lies. Have you met any upipers in NOLA before. I am not aware of any here but I don’t get out much. I haven’t been to any sessions here, I mostly play my b pipes.
I had asked this before since I used to be in NOLA with work, but got no responses. Danny O’Flaherty would probably know. He is owner of O’Flahertys Pub in the Quarter. Nice fellow, has pub divided into two areas, one for him and brothers to perform and the other side for small groups and bands. I think Sunday is his session night, not sure.

I will be there in early June. I wasn’t considering bringing my pipes though. Maybe I will need to consider it!
