I’m holding on to the C Jens. They play a few tunes where C is useful at my session.
How does it work that I sell every key but D? Doesn’t anyone want a Sindt in D?
Sindts are SOOOO dang good! I have a full set. I like my Eb and C Sindts more than any other Eb or C I’ve tried. D is excellent, but the cross-fingering issue still irks me (the other keys don’t have that problem). When It comes to the Bb and A I switch between the Sindts and my Goldie Oertons depending on my mood, my energy level and the kind of sound I’m going for. The Sindt A is the main whistle throughout, because my mom wanted a softer, less agressive sound. When the second whistle comes in at the end it is the Overton.

I too love this sort of contrast of rough and pure when recording, either alternating or layered. Sindt’s and Overtons go beautifully together. So do Burkes and Copelands.
My Sindt C is the only C I own. I like it that much. That A Chris plays on his Mom’s CD sounds really good. WhOA!
