There was no mock up, I just played D on a couple of flutes then opened the F key.
Both flutes played the F nat about 25c flat, the voicing of the Pratten style was better than the other (Series 1 flute, Rudall bore taper but wider)
Edit: with practice I reckon I could get the Pratten to sound in tune as it is. The voicing is slightly stuffy.
