A new flute material!

Not just to Merkins - same effect in real English too. Except I’m quite surprised that Merkins know the English word that the Oirish “third” sounds like! Lots of Brits don’t really know it - it’s a bit agricultural (specialist vocab )… though not, I’d say, deemed mega-rude/offensive among those who do know/use it. Much less rude than “s**t”, probably about in proportion to how much it is used/known compared to the latter (v well known & much used)! Maybe a little ruder than “pooh” and more used in relation to cattle and dogs than babies…

The link from the webpage you gave is just to the same YT clip with the same license restriction. :frowning:

ah, perspective or sumpin’…

Manure is potting soil that hasn’t been aged enough.
A turd is a small bit of manure.
Shit never grows anything good.

It is, in the modern youthful with-it hipster’s lingo for a laudable thing, The Sh*t.

… and is ideal for the cack-handed fluter… (clumsy or leftie, take your pick )

And while we’re talking about accents, there’s always this…
