How would the box work with holding flutes and whistles? The box is always way more fun than the present inside.

Nice present though, nice fil too.

The Price! :boggle: It’s too much… my heart… ak

yeh the box would hold my d whistles

Does that mean you know where to buy it at less than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price, or is that just a general “ak” at the price?

djm

Comes in wooden box with certificate of authenticity

I zoomed in on the certificate. It reads, “Yep; it’s real!”

Your father in law is a keeper! My father bought me a case of 24 of Labatt’s 50 for my twenty first birthday, it was nice of him but I had my first legal beer at seventeen in the army. So I took him out for a drink(s).

I hope you offered him a wee glass?

Anstapa

i am sure we will both have a few

It’s an “Ak” at the price. Possibly my relatives could find someone to arrange a discount, but at that price I incline to sacrifice quality to quantity. Of course, to be presented with it is another matter entirely.

This year I got a little set of four allegedly different Malt whiskies. The last time I got one of these (with eight, smaller bottles) the whiskies, although different colours, were identical in taste. Churlish, perhaps, but I couldn’t resist the experiment.

I got a bottle of this:

[whisky]
It’s a very intense and interesting flavor. Not a heavy smoky type, and not really sweet (despite the description). I can’t think of another like it. I think it could use a coupla more years to age out but I’m not complaining.

never tasted that one sounds intresting
