I was inspired by the Bflat tune Simon pointed us to, so I recorded a couple of tunes, which I’ve posted. They’re on my (sort of) new von Huene Grenser 1-key. They’re at:

http://home.comcast.net/~partello1/oneill.mp3
First is Lament for Terence McDonough; it’s in Bflat
Second is Lament for Owen Roe O’Neill; it’s in F, with Eflat and F# accidentals
Both are O’Carolan tunes.
As is evident, I’m still getting used to this flute. But hopefully its potential comes through; my teacher said it’s the finest Baroque flute he’s played. Mostly, I’m just having a blast playing it, discovering all the music in odd keys that can be played on the 1-key, and communicating that enthusiasm.
