A couple of MP3's

I was inspired by the Bflat tune Simon pointed us to, so I recorded a couple of tunes, which I’ve posted. They’re on my (sort of) new von Huene Grenser 1-key. They’re at:

http://home.comcast.net/~partello1/mcdonough.mp3
http://home.comcast.net/~partello1/oneill.mp3

First is Lament for Terence McDonough; it’s in Bflat
Second is Lament for Owen Roe O’Neill; it’s in F, with Eflat and F# accidentals
Both are O’Carolan tunes.

As is evident, I’m still getting used to this flute. But hopefully its potential comes through; my teacher said it’s the finest Baroque flute he’s played. Mostly, I’m just having a blast playing it, discovering all the music in odd keys that can be played on the 1-key, and communicating that enthusiasm.

(Edited to fix links. We Mac users aren’t used to putting suffixes on the ends of filenames.)

Comcast.net doesn’t want to recognize either of the two url’s you gave. Can you post a more complete listing?

Links work fine with me. On IE and WMP.
