6 keyed Glen Watson for sale

It can be embarrassing to see a post from years past. Thankfully I didn’t piss anybody off this time out.

However, to the best of my knowledge, and as he told me a few years ago, Glenn isn’t currently hand-cutting and swaging his keys. It is very time consuming and the return is minimal. Hand-forged keys are lovely, but cast keys also do the job.

As some of you pointed in this thread I have to say that when I ordered my Watson flute some years ago I asked for some customization and Glenn accepted the challenge. I use to blow very sharp and I did´t wanted to pull the slide out so much to play at A=440Hz, so Glenn did a completely new body flute design for me, a bit larger with a bit larger holes too. My Watson flute has six keys so there was a lot of stuff to think about in terms of design, and he did it, he absolutely did it. In my opinion my flute is one of the best he did, very powerful and perfect in tune.

Picture from my dropbox

so ya think it’s a permissions thing?

Might be that it has to be in the ‘public’ dropbox folder? I just chose the image from the public folder online, chose “copy public link” and pasted it between the “”

Well that one looks like an old German flute…

It is too. I just had to try for myself to attach a image hosted on Dropbox and this is what i found in a hurry

I know I’ve been able to do it before - but I couldn’t this time.
Anyhow, I hope you were able to see the photo because I think
some people were interested. I’ve now dispatched the Watson
flute to its new owner in the USA.
