And what do you play to make people around you feel perplexed?

Oh very good. Haven’t you got a home to go to?

Or at least to phone?

Doesn’t matter what I play, people are generally perplexed…

Paddy Moloney’s “cell phone” trick is even more effective than that…

Best played on small wooden Bachses.

Fits C whistle nicely.

That’s a long ringtone!

@ James:
when I leave the door of our fridge open for too long, it sings: “d e c”
and I reply “C G”

Breqwas,

I love the old Soviet anthem. What a wonderful melody. Many years ago I had need for an arrangement of it, and finally acquired a transcription from the U.S. Department of Defense (I was in the Air Force Band in a previous life). Though it’s but the melody, yours is special and is going into my scrapbook with other keepsakes of the era. Thanks for the dots!

“Bach” means “small” …in Welsh!

Nothing wooden about CPE, WF or JC though! Nor small, come to that! I expect they sang exceptionally well as children if bipped on the bonce, though.

I love the old Soviet anthem.

Maybe you didn’t know, but it is an anthem again. New words, old tune.
( and no, I’m not happy about that )

No, I didn’t know that. I now understand more fully why it’s in your “perplexed” thread. I’m sorry, friend.
