WTT: looking for a delrin or folk flute

I just posted to the instrument exchange page but thought this may get more specific attention.

I am looking to trade for a delrin or wood flute of modern make. Preferably something like a Copley & Boegli or Casey Burns Folk Flute. I’ve played my Great-grandfather’s antique 8 key flute on and off for several years and would like to have a lighter flute that plays up to pitch and I won’t have to worry about as much since I want to get more serious about the flute.

What I have to trade: Burke Low D whistle, loads of highland bagpipe stuff. I am also a part time maker of Scottish smallpipes, so maybe I could work something out that I’ve made as well. Any shortage I have in the trade could be made up with cash of course, but funds are limited and I would prefer to trade first.

If you have anything to trade similar to what I’m looking for, you can reach me by PM or email at quietpiper(at)hot mail dot com

Thanks very, Rob

–wanted to add that if anyone has any insights they can offer for the trade or flutes I mentioned, I would be grateful for the discussion.
