Tommy,

I must admit I was impressed by the video of this PVC whistle. Very rich and dense sounding. It’s also tunable. Thanks for the clip. I’m a bit out of touch these days with whistles and cannot believe how many people are making Low Whistles. Some of these guys are making really quality whistles. The lists gets longer and longer and thats a really healthy sign that Low Whistles will be around for a VERY VERY long time.

p.s. I have to admit I travelled just a few days ago to a store in Downers Grove Illinois not that far from my place and purchased 2 generation whistles and was blown away by the sound and how cheap they were!!! Wow. Those high whistles were very impressive. I see why so many are using them. I’m not really a player of high whistles but I am trying to teach myself…very different from Low Whistles. I’m so frustrated at times but its fun all the same. High whistles are not to be taken lightly. Takes a lot of skill to play them.

Thank you Talbert. That is quite a compliment coming from an accomplished low whistle player as you.
