i just heard today that the Athlone piper Willie Reynolds died yesterday.
He was only 82 years old.

Willie played with my Grandfather Willie Adamson of Moate Westmeath who formed the famous Moate Ceilidhe Band along with Jon Jo Gannon and other famous troubadors.I remember them playing when I was a lad.Happy days.my grandad played pipes fidil agus clarinet.
