Who Knew?

I still don’t know.

She doesn’t look Irish.

One of the gentlemen in the lower picture is Muhammad Ali checking out his roots.

She must not have watched ‘The Pope of Greenwich Village’.

Concerning the first picture, I’m willing to go for three pinfalls or a submission.
Concerning the second, who are the Orangemen, and what are they doing there?

Maybe not Irish , but a attractive lass none the less

Ali is descended from an Irish great-grandfather, an Abe Grady(?) reportedly from Ennis, who upon settling in America married a freed slave.

Feadoggie

Exchange programme. Makes me see red too.

Are the orange people not simply security in florescent jackets?

Much too obvious!

At least they weren’t carrying those blasted banners.

Oops! Wrong flag!

They don’t look orange.

Very much the same colour as the Gold/Orange of the flag.

Talking about much too obvious - there was a security police man outside the White House. On his jacket it said in big white letters " Secret service police"
Mmmmmm??? Not very secret

He was not amused when I asked him about it    Live dangerously I say!!!

Once, while giving some friends a night tour of DC, I managed to get lost and drive into one of the side driveway entrances to the White House or the Capitol (I don’t remember which). The guards in the little guard house were not amused. But not unfriendly, either. They let me drive in all the way to turn around and leave. I imagine things might be different nowadays.

You were seeing the uniformed division. The question for you is whether you saw . . . the rest . . . of them?

Ahhh. Darned clever these secret police then. I did think I noticed a tree that moved now you come to mention it.
