I have been reading the Flute Forum for a few months but have not posted. Does that mean I cannot now put up a notice about a flute I have for sale ? Help

As a new member with fewer than three posts you’re under certain limits, but you can certainly post in the Flute Forum. After your first three posts have been approved you will have full permissions, which means you may post without prior Admin approval, you may send and receive Private Messages, and you may post in the Used Instruments Exchange.
Please read and familiarize yourself with C&F’s principles. They’re in the so-called CCCP (← link). It’s at the top of every page, and it should tell you everything you need to know about how things run around here. ![]()
Also looking to sell a flute… I don’t have a “new topic” button in the FS forum.
All that is explained in my post above. Please read the content.
What do you suggest I post to earn the coveted privilege of posting in your used instruments exchange?
How about a picture and description of the flute you have for sale.
Most forums that I frequent have an introduction area, where you post some info about yourself, so others may see what you like, where you are, your hobbies, etc. It’s normal etiquette to make your first posting there, & it will increase your post count into the bargain. ![]()
That’s exactly what I want to post, but I need more posts to post in the correct forum for that.
This post should make it three, so I’ll try now!
