I was listening to Burke narrow bore whistles and I like them. The Copelands are just a little breathy for me, aside from being way to big an investment sitting around.
Basically I want to get from the new line Burkes, a narrow Bore D, a Narrow bore C both in Brass, and a Low D (Brass or Aluminum)
Hence, the Copelands are $375 for the little one, and $675 for the big one. Basically, you save fat cash, and they are both mint, except for a small ding in the back of the Low D near the bottom, which I can have fixed by a pro before shipping, or you can have done there, your choice.
I will accept Burke trade ins for part of the value of these whistles, if you would like to do a little sterling upgrade, however I just don’t get enough time off the pipes and on the Copelands to keep the breathing up.
Still wicked sound on both of them!
If you like I will provide serial numbers so you can verify them with Copeland b4 buying.
