Update on my medical condition.

I was approved to see the specialist about my underlying conditions, and have an appointment in a week or so.

The therapy they are using is a bit painful, but it seems to be working, albeit ever so slowly. I was also prescribed medication, today, for yet another condition.

I only got an hour or so’s sleep, as the appointment, today, was quite early, but not sure when I’ll get some more sleep. Probably once the pain goes down a bit more.

I’d lost about ten lbs. since my last doctor’s visit, a little over a week ago… which is fine, I can easily stand to lose it… but not dieting or anything… just from some swelling going down, and probably loss of appetite from the nerves, dealing with all this.

Those of you who are of a mind to do so, please continue to keep me in your thoughts and/or prayers. I’m not one who takes easily to all this medical attention, so the moral support means a lot.

Hang in there Walden-- whatever it is, we’re all rooting for you!

Moral support is yours, Walden… I hope the pain subsides for you soon, and that you can get some rest. Hang in there!!

Moral support on its way, Walden, along with very best wishes for pain relief, sleep, and a speedy recovery.

Carol

I’ll play a tune tonight for your return to good health.

Best wishes, and hope you’re ok.

Robin

Walden,

I’ll continue to pray for you. I hope that the pain goes away very fast. I am thankful that you got approval to see the specialists and hope you have a speedy recovery.

Cheers,

Hang in there Big Fella, these things always seem to work out in the long run…

Slan,

as ever

It’s good to hear you’ll be seeing a specialist. I hope you’re back to normal soon, W.

As for getting more sleep, I bet some folks here can supply you with some CD recommendations. Lots and lots of them.

Jef

do/read/watch things that make you laugh.

Hang in there.

Tom

Have only just joined but where you seem to be is where my wife is presently so we can share something…we will certainly think of you in our prayers and our best wishes are with you. Les

Take good care of yourself…and let music and all things you enjoy help you to cope with the stress. It will get better.
Best, Pam

Best wishes

hang in there bud.

thoughts and prayers go with you, Walden.

no matter what you’re going through brother, try and think of sweet memories, it helped me.

like a love that’s strong and never dies, like in this songby tommy makem:

Fair and lovely Annie,
Your gentle ways have won me.
You bring peace and joy and laughter everywhere.
Where you go the sunshine follows,
You’re a breath of spring in winter
And my heart and soul are always in your care.

Gentle Annie, Gentle Annie,
And my heart and soul
Are always in your care.

When you touch me with your fingers,
My cares and worries vanish
Like the morning dew before the rising sun,
When your eyes tell me you love me,
Then my soul is filled with wonder
And my love for you will live when life is done.

Gentle Annie, Gentle Annie,
And my love for you
Will live when life is done.

You’re the flower among the flowers,
You’re the birdsong in the morning,
You’re the laughter of the children at their play.
You’re my hope and joy and wisdom,
You’re my reason just for living,
You’re my treasure,
You’re my very night and day.

Gentle Annie, Gentle Annie,
You’re my treasure,
You’re my very night and day.

When the mountains all come tumbling
And the earth has stopped its turning,
When the winds don’t blow and stars refuse to shine,
When the moon has left the heavens,
And the seven seas are empty,
I will still have Gentle Annie on my mind.

Gentle Annie, Gentle Annie,
I will still have Gentle Annie on my mind.

You’re in my prayers, Aaron.

So sorry to hear about your illness. I’ll be praying for you.

Dana
